Oh, I bet they would. Especially the horse. Remember, they've already
said that unLocke is Smokey and the "sound" doesn't show up every time
he does. It didn't show up when "Yemi" confronted Eko. It only shows
up when Smokey is Smokey, and not always then either. They've been
incredibly inconsistent with it. Heck, look at that thread referenced

I would say that if the horse and Walt appeared without the
characteristic monster sounds, then they aren't going to claim that
these were manifestations of the monster.

As thinbluemime points out, the monster sounds accompanied the spider
attack. When people still weren't sure, the producers confirmed it
for them.

That one can be reasonably fan-wanked away -- there's a "snowglobe"
area around the Island and all the matter inside that area moves when
the Island does. That includes the other smaller Island. That hasn't
been explicitly stated in the show, but I think it's implied.

My Tivo had already picked that up. I did change recording options to
always record an extra minute because I frequently miss the last few
seconds of the broadcast.
